so i broke my phone screen and i cant get my hidden pictures off my Galaxy S4 any help?
If you know the folder you put them in you can connect the phone to a computer and copy them off. Pictures are usually in the DCIM folder or the Camera folder under it, either on the internal or external ("Phone" or "Card") SD cards.
i know the folder but i used the hide folder option and now they just show that there empty and i cant see them and the screens broken so i cant unhide them
Hey there, zhtincctx, welcome to our AndroidForums!
I don't think the .nomedia file will affect your PC's ability to see those files that are normally hidden by creating that file.
So you should be able to see them...:dontknow:
Did you happen to have USB debugging enabled? (if you don't know what that is, then you probably don't). If you did/do, you should be able to grab you files using the adb pull command (but you can't enable USB debugging if you haven't already).
i ended up taking my replacement phone screen off then putting on my old phone just to unhide them and pull them off
but i didnt change the usb debugging it worked fine but the photos were just not there i got them off the hard way but i would lkike to know if there was something i did wrong for the future
