Sorry if this is a FAQ, but is there a way to do this?

Im guessing you mean like Htc (A9 and 10)

I dont see that option to add the down hide button on this one.

I figure the screen was large enough to not hide these.

Definitely large enough. Why do you want to hide controls?

On the v20 settings/display/home touch buttons/hide home touch buttons. You can set the ability to hide the buttons per apps. Maybe it's there for the LG 6 also.

Nope. On the LG G6 I see Button combination which lets me move the buttons around and add more buttons and Color which lets me change their colors. Nothing about hiding them.

There must be more requests for this type of thing, on new phones.

The Galaxy 8/8+ just got an update that adds this (ability) to hide onscreen nav bar.

Who knows with LG may follow.

Just switched from the iPhone7 Plus to the LG G6. Love the form factor. Seems a bit sluggish on some task. Any pointers for recent iOS converter!
