    Hi,

Is there a way I can tell the stock apps (music, gallery etc) to only look in certain folders?

For example, I have a folder /Music and I only want the music app to look there.
The Gallery I only want to look at photos.

    thks

Put a empty file named ".nomedia" in the folders which you don't want to see.

I use my phone's file manager (EStrongs File Explorer):
    EStrongs menu > + > File > .nomedia

Because Android is like Linux, this is the name of file (not the file extension like Windows).
