Anyone know a way? I don't want to see the text labels, but I want everything else to stay the same. I dont want to use Home++ or anything else that fundamentally changes the Android experience. Could an app be made to do this?

No one? Can someone make an App that will allow them to be turned on and off?

Just a bump...Hoping maybe someone has heard something along this front. Really wish I could banish all text from desktop. And BetterCut didn't work. I need a way to hide the text and the label box. If you put a space in, there is still a small box where the text would be that is semi-transparent. If anyone has seen the Kill All widget for Advanced Task Killer, that is what I want ALL my icons to look like.

Two options that I know of: MoreIcons widget (not quite what you're looking for, and it downsizes your icons greatly) and SweeterHome, which again isn't ideal either, being a total home replacement.
