    Hi guys

Just wondering if there is a way I can hide certain games from my young son. I let him play with my HTC Desire, he loves it. But I have certain games e.g. Stupid Zombies I do not want him playing. Is there a way I can rename the game and icon? That would be ideal.

I don't think apps can be renamed or icons changed without rooting your phone and I would assume that the same applies to hiding an icon.

One possible solution is to password protect apps but I guess this is only useful if you don't mind him knowing that you don't want him playing some games. If you head to the Market and search for "Lock" you'll find some suggestions.

Install Go Laucher EX, then select the game in the application drawer and hide it.
You can also use a different icon or rename the icon name.

LauncherPro Plus also allows icons to be hidden in the app drawer.

GoLauncher Ex allows you to rename icons and hide them. Your phone does not have to be rooted.
