Just joined the forum because I'm going to have lotsa questions with my new LG Vortex (Verizon). I'm coming from a Chocolate Touch and a WinMobile Verizon XV6900 (HTC Touch??). So I'm used to a touch screen, although this one seems to be different - gotta push, vice simply touching a fingertip.

Well, I'm off to ask questions.

Well, I bailed from Android for a bit, but it seems like I have to come back. I'm not in love with a device that wants to do everything for you and is always connected doing who-knows-what in the background.

But there is one app that I must have, and it's not available on WinMo - so I am drug back into the world of Android. Gonna go with a Samsung Fascinate (Verizon) this time - my son has one and he can help teach this old dog the new tricks.
