Assuming you mean button! you could perhaps install "button savoir" from playstore which puts soft buttons on your screen so that a broken hard button does not matter.

Well, it may be a physical failure of the switch. If its under warranty you could take it back, if not maybe it could be repaired. It depends what device it is, where you are in the world (for easy access to repair shops) and whether a software solution such as Button Savior suits you.
