    Hello,
I've had my HTC Desire for a few weeks now and I love it to bits! I just want to ask though how other people set up their home screens (I'm seriously lacking imagination) I'd like to know of what widgets & apps are must hav's!
Also, I have dedicated my far left screen as a 'car' screen which i've got a music widget on and google navigation icon... I'm after some other really good apps to use while being out in the car and while travelling around the country, any suggestions?

One more thing, I'm after a car cradle to use the navigation, but the speaker on the phone is really quiet... is there a satnav with a speaker built in, or can you get cigarette lighter powered bluetooth speakers? I only want to be able to hear what the phone's satnavs saying really.

    Please help if you can,
    Cheers

You don't need imagination or need to know how I set mine up. Think about how you use yours. Think about what you use.

    I have home screens for:

    • Device utilities
    • Entertainment apps
    • Most frequently used apps (main home screen)
    • Car/nav apps and direct dials
    • Location-aware apps (weather, Yelp, Skymap, Urbanspoon)
But there are plenty of other possibilities out there.

There are tons of suggestions in the Applications subforum.
