    Just curious If anyone has any thoughts, comments or recommendations.

    I am pretty much looking at www.oplinksecurity.com. They have packages for doors, motion sensors, etc that can all be controlled from your phone.

    Of course there is also Cricket, dropcam and the good ol' services like ADT.

    Ya, I've seen these since the kickstarter launched. Only concern is that it is a standalone unit. So, you would have to buy one for every major area of the house you want covered? I admit I don't know about them in detail.
