I am having trouble getting my HTC inspire to connect to my home WiFi. When trying to connect on other WiFi connections, It works perfect and connects instantly.

What setting could there be that makes the WiFi get stuck on obtaining ip address on my home wifi/router settings?

I have ensured that I have entered the proper password as well. Any help would be appreciated.

your home wifi might be set up incorrectly, to me it sounds like its set up so you can assign a specific device an IP address instead of allowing the router make the assignments automatically.

What is weird is that my iPhone and laptops connect just fine to the home WiFi/router.

Could be a little thing.. remember your SSID is case sensitive... double check you didn't capitalize the first letter in the name.
