I honestly thought that at 1ghz ... it would run smooth as it does without LWP on. oh well.
I don't know what you all have for apps running but mine has no lag
I honestly doubt that. I activated my phone and the first thing I did was turn on the Galaxy Wallpaper (as well as the other ones).. there is a considerable difference between scrolling speeds through the home pages with the live wallpaper on than without it on. I'd like to see a video for proof... because I'm not buying that some people aren't getting any lag while others are.
Live Wallpapers slow down every Android device's homescreen scrolling.
The real question is, do you actually notice the slow down effect..
Not whether it actually slows it down, any application on any phone will slow it down to some degree, ie, uses processor cycles to run the program.
okay i just put back on normal wall paper it was just a tad faster nothing to really complain about imo
yes i notice it.
Yea I noticed this too. The HTC sense live wall paper slows down my incredible a lot.
how much faster do LWP kill battery compared to a regular wallpaper
Live wallpaper causing lag isn't the issue. It seems that sense's home screens are not as smooth as it is with them off. As far as opening and closing app there might be a 1/4 of a second delay. It might kill the battery a little quicker but that was to be expected.
The sky is also blue.
