The lighting at the Huawei booth was catastrophic and, to be honest, I’m not sure any device would have coped well in such conditions, so it would be unfair to judge the 5X camera based on the photos I took there.
It was hard to get a clear picture (pun intended) of how well the camera performed, so I'll reserve judgement until I've done a full test, but I can say that the camera's launch and focus speeds seemed acceptable.
