Great for Web Masters, Sys Admins and On-Call IT folks.
Check status of multiple hosts on-demand or as periodic background service. As some one who is often on call, I use it my self to check all our company exchange, website, ftp sites - I don't need to login to my computer - just click on phone and done or set it as a service and audible alarm sounds if any monitored hosts failed. (If failure app tries 3 times before sounding alarm, also if there is phone data failure app waits for 5 minutes before sounding alarm). Similar host based services cost upwards of $100 per month.
