Help Hotmail messages help

Hi all, new to android here, iphone and WM convert
I have both gmail and hotmail accounts, am using the mail app now and both are working ans syncing new mail. The problem is yhat none of them are showing previous mails, i have tried the account settings and still not good. Tried searching a bit on the net but dont really have the answer.
I dont connect my phone to pc much abd dont use outlook/exchange etc... just simple hotmail and gmail.
Anyone know what i have to do on the phone to show my old mails for both gmail and hotmail accounts?

Btw, this phone is sick, much better than my ex iphone4

Make sure it is syncing the older by looking at the folder view and it should say a time period.

Only showing up to this wednesday when i actually first got the phone and set up the hotmail acct on ohone

ok, wend to the setting and checked d/load all messages,
now have encountered 2 more problems

1. read messeages on pc hotmail are now all unread on the phone
2. when i delete from the phone, it doesn't delete from the pc when i check my e-mail.

anyway to solve this issue?
