Just bought an Epic for my wife after she fell in love with mine. She uses Hotmail as her main Email at home, so I set her account up on the Epic. She seems to get emails no problem, but after she deletes them, they all come back. Is there anyway around this? Doesn't happen with Gmail and it doesn't happen with my work email on my phone (POP3).

When you set up Hotmail on your wife's Epic, did you use the automatic hotmail setup or did you do the manual process specifying Microsoft Exchange Activesync as the type of account?

Instead of doing the auto setup, do the following manual setup.

open up the email app, settings ----> accounts -----> add account. Enter your full hotmail email address followed by your password and then click on manual setup button. You then have three account type choices, click the bottom one, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. On the next screen, again enter your full hotmail address and password. In the exchange server box enter "m.hotmail.com". Finish the setup and your hotmail account should sync correctly.

My messages will also not delete. It will sync my messages and once I hit delete they go away on the phone. Within a few seconds they will reappear as new messages. However, if I click on them and move them to the trash they will delete and not come back, I'm on HTC Thunderbolt for Verizon, and ANY help would be greatly appreciated. It's driving me crazy.
