    Hello Friends!

Here's the deal, I have a 6GB Edge Max plan. Per Verizon, this plan does not include hotspot. My device is not rooted, and I don't want to root it. Is there an app (free or paid) that I can get that will allow me to enable hotspot on my phone even if it's not rooted and I don't have a hotspot plan? (I know, I want the cake and want to eat it).

    Thanks for the feedback!

Verizon cuts off tethered data at their end unless you pay for a tethered account. There's nothing you can do on your end.

    Can't find a 3rd party app that'll work with Android 4.3 or 4.4 though.

Have you tried Foxfi? It use to work for me, I've had it working with no problem on my note 3 up until I got the Moto X 2 days ago, now when I turn the hotspot on it says "Your carrier has blocked WiFi mode in latest phone update. Please use USB mode or Bluetooth mode instead." Lame. I still have unlimited and can get unlimited mobile hotspot, but I'd prefer to spend that $30 on something else.

I have tried Foxfi, and no it doesn't work with our fancy updated phones. Not even a Bluetooth tether from phone to tablet. Though that might be because my tablet has KitKat also. Foxfi hasn't updated their tablet app in 2 years!
