hotspot resell internet

Is there an app to be able to use your hotspot as an "internet cafe" where people can pay by the hour or mb?
(I don't live in the US)

Better to ask your cell phone carrier for that information.

Very unlikely.
Even if it didn't violate your terms of service with your provider, you wouldn't have the bandwidth to support multiple connections and the built-in hotspot probably wouldn't allow more than one or two anyway.
But yeah, check with your carrier to see what they permit/have available.

The Android hotspot could only accomodate 5 connections I think. Plus it's gonna fry your phone. I remember my old Nokia 5800, I was using it as a hotspot. Somebody spread the password and I was shocked when it's battery went down to 1 bar despite being plugged in. Checking the app, I saw 17 active connections (I was in class and FB was blocked in school WiFi), so I changed the name and password.

I actually use no security on mine because friends and loved-ones sometimes use it and i flash roms so often that the data counter always goes back to zero lol. My neighbours (i live in a flat/apartment) could be the reason my data is so slow lol

I just got the built in Android warning a while ago, and so that all you US users can see how it is overseas why the OP can havr this idea :

Yeah I used my phone to tether and download game DLC and whatever this past month. It was sembreak for us so game and movie time for me.

Kinda thought there wasn't something available for it. There's no problem here doing what I'm trying to do and I doubt I would have more than 5 at a time. I was just hoping for something easy rather than having to run a free radius server etc.

Haha, don't think carriers would like that to much, some of us users with a lot of excess data would though.
