I used to use Hotspot Shield on my Iphone. Is there some service like this that works for android?
What exactly did this do on your ipod?
I used it to go to websites that are blocked by the government controled phone company. Sites such as skype and so on.
And which phone company is government controlled?
i am guessing he is in another country..
What a waste of time.........
What you are looking for is a VPN service provider for Android.
Free VPN working with Android (Hotspot Shield)? - xda-developers
Why is it a waste of time? I'm just trying to understand what a 'hotspot shield' is, because I have never heard of one. And I was just asking what government controls phone companies and controls websites you view because I wasn't aware there was such a thing. I was just trying to understand your situation so I could help you, since you didn't really describe your situation at all. If you don't give us some details about your problem, like what phone you are using, etc, we cant help you.
Have you ever heard about 'Google'?
Shame you wasted your first posting on a 5 week old thread with a valid point from a Senior Member.

I used hotspotshield to access Hulu from Canada, it changes or blocks your IP
I am also looking for such an app to watch Hulu. It works on my PC at home, at least one of them. The other one alway notices that I use an anonymous proxy.

I'm a besta tester, installed the program thru googleplay, it tries to connect but it answers "can't establish connection. error: remote ppp hung up"
