So how are you purchasing it?! I have a Droid currently and I'm still in my contract, so I am going to have to pay for full retail price.. :( Is there anyone else joining me?!

    Full retain = $500 - $600
2 year contract price = (most likely) $199

In a contract as well.....probably just going to add a line, and get the phone for the promotional pricing. Then I might cancel my number and pay the $150 termination fee. Or just pay the $8 extra a month with my HCA discount. So $199 and $8 extra a month, or $199 plus the $150 termination fee.....either way it's cheaper than paying $599 outright.

Ya wirefly might help as well!

well, I'm up for an annual upgrade now, but still a few months away from my NE2, so i don't know exactly what my price will be, but I'm guessing around 230. I forgot how the annual upgrade works exactly.

Full retail price on month-to-month. I hate contracts.

I think I'm going 1-year contract because this will be my first Verizon phone. Hopefully it's $280ish like the Droid.

I'm still undecided, I have an old v-cast contract that gives me unlimited data for $15/month. I think they will force me to a new contract at $30/month if I go NE2, which at $599 vs. 2 years is close in over all costs. But I will need to make sure I don't have other savings going on in my current contract.

Is this what you call when you are eligible for an upgrade even though your 2-year contract has not actually expired?

My G/F is already eligible for an upgrade but her two year contract actually expires July 7th, 2010.

Yeah I keep reading on here that you can actually do it at 20 months instead of 24 months.

My NE2 is July 12th, but I'll be grabbing the DI the day it comes out.

I'll be using my wife's NE2 for my Incredible unless I can get them to let me upgrade my phone and in exchange extend my current contract an additional 2 years.

Does anyone know if that's possible?

My guess is no because her phone subsidy has been paid for and mine hasn't. I got a Samsung Rogue for my NE2 back in October and I despise how useless this phone is concerning anything web-related and there are zero apps available.

That's exactly how it works. My 2-year contract ends on August 29th but I'm NE2 eligible on April 29th (Incredible coincidence ;)).

The last two years I've been able to extend my contract and get the two year pricing. I did it in 2008 and 2009. The last time I upgraded was in Aug 2009, so we'll see if they can pull any strings for me. I also heard that if you have a family plan the account holder can upgrade once per year for an extra $20. Don't know if that's true.

I'm well overdue for a new phone. Going with a 2-year contract renewal so I can use my NE2 credit. Will probably utilize the annual upgrade option next year if some 4G handsets get released. Can't go wrong!

This NE2 upgrade is burning a hole in my pocket. Been waiting since January to get a new phone and now we are a mere two weeks away.

Aww there's no option for someone like me where I'm in a family plan still and using my mom's NE2 because she never uses it unless she is forced to.

1 or 2 year contract; still haven't decided. Maybe 2 so LTE phones can be matured by then.

So for the record, how much will you be paying for the Incredible with NE2 discount? Do you all also have a -$100 online discount if you purchase online?
