I have a contact list from GMail. I have a contact list named Corporate (whatever that is). I have a contact list from my ActiveSync business account (Exchange server). I have a contact list from Phone.

How can these be reduced to one?

Certain programs (Better Cut) see contacts from one list but not others.

Any help to resolve the confusion appreciated.

    JC,

I had the same problem after having contacts from google, outlook, and facebook. I ended up with three groups of separate contacts - annoying.

Now, do you want to eliminate the groups, or just filter them? If you just want to filter them, you can check/uncheck which groups you want to show.

As far as eliminating them, what I had to do was this... I wanted google as my main source of contacts so that I could have them sync all of the time to stay up-to-date. I backed up my gmail contacts to the sd card - then deleted ALL contacts on my phone. After that, I restored my contacts under the GOOGLE account section - and kept it like that.

Now, I have one, clean group of contacts that is always synched!

    Does that make any sense?

    Thanks,

    Matt!
