How can I block GB

My phone is prompting me every few hours to install it. I don't want it! I like Froyo just the way it is and with massive amounts of GB complaints, it looks like I'd just be going backwards. Everything from apps now longer working, battery life way, down, features gone, freezes, etc. I don't want it.

Any way to block the install?

Anyways, are you rooted by chance? If so you could rename some .apk's to stop the prompt..

Yes. I'm rooted. What would I rename?

Also, when Froyo came out, I delayed it for a while too but that was just let others take the hit on stability first

Eventually Froyo installed without prompting me or giving me a choice.

GB is fine. Not many people come online to say everything is perfect. They mostly come on to say something isn't working, small majority. No OTA roll out is flawless btw
