how can i snyc my phone to my laptop

my laptop used to sync to my phone so all pictures taken by my phone would sync on to laptop via facebook

Sounds like a facebook sync issue. I don't use FB so I'm afraid I have no idea what you can do about that.

As an alternative, however you can simply hook up your phone and PC with a USB cable then either use MTP and drag and drop your pictures from Internal Storage \DCIM\Camera to wherever you want them on the PC or use PTP and .. do whatever that does .. No idea. Never used it.

There are also a variety of sync tools available on the Play Store or if your phone came with PC software - e.g. Kies or HTC Sync - you could use that.
