Root How can I stop my phone from booting into clockwork recovery?

Most of the time when I reboot my phone it automatically goes into clockwork recovery. Anyway to stop this?

I had this issue when I upgraded to that semi-rooted version of Gingerbread. It left the bootstrap files loaded in the system and Bootstrapper couldn't gain root privileges to remove them after the phone started up fully.

Yeah, Froyo rooted.

Have you tried just re-installing Bootstrap (i.e. loading the app and hitting the first button to install Bootstrap)?

That's what worked for me. Go into bootstrap and hit "bootstrap recovery" but don't hit "reboot recovery" Just restart your phone like normal and it should stop.

It usually does but seems inconsistent on mine. Every once in a while it won't.

To get rid of CWM you can delete /system/bin/hijack and /system/bin/logwrapper. Then rename /system/bin/logwrapper.bin to /system/bin/logwrapper
