How can i un-sync my Picasa Photos?

Hello

I have a Transformer Prime tablet, but this is more of an Android question and not device specific, i think.

I didn't pay attention and let my Picasa album sync with my device. Now i have like 12,000 photos sitting in my gallery. (huge picasa albums hehe)

I unchecked "sync with Picasa" to get them off my device, and that didnt work.

I plugged my device into pc to browse and delete, but i cant find them

They are all there, available for offline viewing

The albums are tied to my main gmail account, so i cannot remove it.

Any advice?

OOPS FIXED IT

But ill leave my thread in case anyone needs the same help i guess

I went into Settings>Applications>All (and selected Gallery)

Then Clear Data

That did the trick
