Does anyone know how can you change the icons on the pop out side bar on the Note 2? I saw a video of someone doing it but it will not work on my Note 2. Please help. Thanks

It's called multi view and you can't change anything (add) unless you're rooted.

Hi

If you dare follow this post I think you can add apps. (without root) I have also found a couple of apps which the devs have made compatible and which appear in the side bar automatically when installed. LocusPro and PDFbuilder

Myself, I think I'll wait for the devs to catch up. (Although it would be good to put a calculator in the sidebar)

Mine has an edit button at the bottom, but it only allows you to remove apps, not add, as far as I have been able to tell.

Hi,

Just got my note 2, love it but want to know if there is any way to change the apps in the app bar that you can use for spilt screen.

I can use the split screen fine but want some different apps in there.

Does anyone know if you can change them or swap them. I've looked on the Web but can't seem to find anything on if it's possible or how to do it.

Cheers Rich

Thanks for the link! There are other xda threads linked to the original xda thread you posted here that lets you download already modified apks. I have at least 15 apps in my multi window including angry birds star wars! Awesome find for non root users!

I've just upgraded Klondike and its now available to add to the multiscreen bar when I click on the edit at the bottom. So I think its just a case of waiting for devs to get around to enabling it. Maybe emailing the developers of the apps you want to be added if you can find an address on play /google market.
