After using linux for about 6 years or so I realized that there are some opensource idealist. To the point where they will refuse to use anything that is not "free" as in freedom free. Ubuntu with ubuntu-one for example has been getting some flak because that is a closed source program that they made in house. I think it is alright to keep some things proprietary. You pay for android and therefor it is not a totally free OS. Its the best phone OS out on the market.
