General How do I get a soft keyboard?

    I have seen videos where people have done it an was wondering if I could do it myself. thank you in advance for any help offered. :)

    Applications like ChompSMS and Steel both have a built in soft-keyboard which works well if you just want to tap in a few words, not as effective as the hardware keyboard though. What I think you are referring to is the "cupcake" feature of built in soft keyboard, rumours are flying about that this will appear in an update on the phone at some point.

    You can either a) wait for this update (if it does in fact arrive) or b) search this forum for how to install cupcake builds on your phone.
