I have a problem using Remix OS which is I wanna get rid of Recommendation Tab on Android Emulator (Remix OS). I use Remix OS version 3.0.205 (kernel version is 4.4.19-android-x86_64) with Android Marshmallow version 6.0.1 that runs over VM-ware Workstation Player 12.5.

Because I dont want Recommendation tab still exists on my Remix OS.

Please help me out. I would appreciate any suggestion and help.

    Right you are!

I don't have much experience with Virtual Machines. Do you have to install a .vmdk or can you use an .iso?

You usually install with an .iso on VM's.

Good, I'm working on a revamped Remix .iso as we speak, debloated. Should be ready in a couple of hours.

It's actually the 32 bit I'm working on. The 64 bit will take a while.

@Bg260 oh yeah... if it so, could you please to send me the Remix OS file after revamped Remix OS to deniyulianti@gmail.com. Yes, I use Remix OS .iso using VMware Workstation Pro for first setting up. Yes, I need the Remix OS without Recommendations Tab. Thanks all for your response @Guggy @Unforgiven

Unfortunately. this will not be as easy as I first thought. I have eliminated most of the app ads but the recommendations tab is deeply embedded. I suggest you check back from time to time.

In the meantime you could try my PhoenixOS .iso. Phoenix is a lot less commercialized:)

    Only 32bit though.
