    In random threads, I see peeps using adb shell and logging in using 'su'. How are they doing this??? I have the standard root with the 'superuser' app. I can delete/move via Root Explorer.. but I want 'su' via shell too. I have ADB setup too and I can get to shell, just not 'su'

    Here is an exxaple -

    busybox mv /system/app/Browser.apk /sdcard/backupapps/Browser.apk.old;

    Anyone?

    Thanks!

    Once you're in adb shell, just type 'su' and hit enter. A notification should pop up on your phone asking if you want to allow or deny root access.
