I set a pass code in my setting and I forgot what it was. How can I recover it? Because I can't see any forgot password button there and it is NOT Avg. It's the inbuilt anti theft features. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

This can be dependent on the phone model and the Android version you are running. More details will help us help you.

I don't think it can be recovered, but it can be disabled. If you go to menu>settings>security and switch your lock screen to swipe or none mode, you should get a dialog that looks like this ...

If you hit okay and then reboot your phone you may be able to set a new password

Okay, I did something stupid. I tried to see if I could get my password by sending #password# from a trusted contact, but nothing happened, so I tried #lock# and it locked my phone with the pin. I thought it would lock it with my pattern, but it didin't. So now I'm locked out of my phone! And I can't even hard boot it. The recovery screen just says "No Command" Please help!

I take it these commands are part of AVG to secure your phone in the event of loss or theft? Honestly, at this point you might want to consider flashing factory firmware and starting all over if possible.
