how do i remove all the data/folders on the phone after restore?

I am giving my phone away and I restored the device and connected it to system to view the folders on the phone, and everything is still there. all of my photos and application docs, and my backup files.

the memory card is removed.

when I restored the phone should it not have wiped/removed all this stuff from the phone?

what am I suppose to do? I can manually delete all of these folders right?

In the Motorola world ... a Factory Data Reset is a good idea as the last thing you do when selling a phone and the first thing you do when buying a phone (especially from a non-carrier).

Because of the way that question is worded, the answer is no.
