how do i remove all the data/folders on the phone after restore?

    I am giving my phone away and I restored the device and connected it to system to view the folders on the phone, and everything is still there. all of my photos and application docs, and my backup files.

    the memory card is removed.

    when I restored the phone should it not have wiped/removed all this stuff from the phone?

    what am I suppose to do? I can manually delete all of these folders right?

    When doing a factory reset, make sure you do NOT have backup to google selected in your settings.
