How do I restore Google Authentication Verification codes??

Would someone PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell me get back into my Facebook (and other social media sites?) A few weeks ago I did a master reset on my phone and I accidentally selected delete all data, which I'm sure it that may have included all of my two-step Google authentication codes. All I know is I've tried to restore/resync my Google Authentication app, but I'm just unable too. I've been googling my issue like an mad black woman (&#128514and I haven't been able to find a suggestion that has worked, not even Facebooks help and support pages. It's always another issue on top of another issue. I need help. I don't know what else to do. 🤷🏽‍♀️ 😢

Is your phone or tablet still able to connect and sync with your Google account? If so, the Authenticator app should work and generate the numeric login codes.

FWIW I use Google authentication myself on various sites, including here on AF and the UK government site for my pensions and things.
