Root how do I root htc desire 510?!

I'm from HTC Desire 510 we need a root app anybody can help us I'm willing to pay

The 510 can be unlocked via HTC Dev but at the time of this writing there is no custom recovery made for this phone yet. Hopefully someone will take up the project and you guys will then have easy root.

Don't know. Just happened to be in #twrp and a guy with a 510 said he'd just successfully unlocked via htc dev and was looking for a recovery. If you or somebody else can get me your boot.img, I might give it a shot. (no promises)

I tried but does it need to be unlocked first

Per the htc dev site "all devices launched after 9/2011 will be shipped with the unlock capability". If your device isn't listed, try selecting "all other supported models" as your choice.

When trying to root htc desire 510 with framaroot I only get option to use Aragon not Gandalf, which fails! Help this phone comes with no internal storage and won't allow moving much to Sd card!

It won't but it will factory reset your phone n reset everything and your warenty will be voided

so far i have made it to the unlock of the bootloader using kangoapp super easy for that step vroot farmaroot no good and havent found one anywere yet will try one above with bootloader unlocked and see

after multiple attempts looks like root genius wont work either on my end i cant install the correct drivers for it to root if anyone knows of any updated drivers or were i should look for them if i find before that i will post

Drivers for htc or root?

It's gotta be the root drivers it runs and runs and resets my phone everytime it trys to install drivers from htc after boot up it fails tried downloading drivers from htc but no difference probably just have to be patient on this one someone will come up with the root eventually I'm sure

I've tried them all vroot genius the other ones as well so far none have worked with bootloader unlocked they all have issues with install device driver errors htc sync is downloaded and spk packs as well I tried

Download n install pdanet for windows. It has drivers in there you might need
