How do i transfer files from my Phone to my PC?

Hi there, im trying to transfer files from my new phone (Galaxy Nexus) to my PC but everytime i try to do so (even with empty folders) i get a box saying 'Calculating time required to copy the files.' and it just freezes there, any tips or fixes? Thanks in advance.

You're trying to copy a lot of large files at once. It takes the phone a LONG time to calculate the time required. (It's not freezong - "long" here means go to lunch, do some shopping, come home and fix dinner, have dinner, watch TV - then maybe it'll have finished.)

Instead, create the folder on the computer (right-click/new/folder). Then copy the files 5 or 10 at a time.

Or use an app like AirDroid or Wifi File Transfer. They're faster than USB from phone to computer.
