Help How do I turn this stupid voice off!

Hey guys,

When I'm playing music on it through the Music Player app and when I turn the volume up or down on the side button a stupid robotic voice will announce the artist, album and song title. VERY annoying.

I couldn't seem to find an option to turn it off.

Does anyone know?

i had this same issue before. try to go to settings/voice input and output/Text-to-speech settings and see if driving mode is checked. if it does, uncheck it.

It was unchecked.

I had that but for some reason it was gone when I updated to froyo
anyway , just avoid the long press on the volume increase, just press it couple of times to increase the volume or use the touchscreen (didn't happen with me with volume decrease)
