Is this your first android phone? the incredible is indeed incredible... hardware wise. As far as video playback on android... there's quite a ways to go. it is virtually non-existant unless you re-encode everything to mp4.
Hopefully with 2.1, there will be better players coming out like coreplayer.
You need to encode the video to MP4. Otherwise, you just go into the photo/video gallery to view things.
I was just about to ask the same question! I just got the Incredible and couldn't figure out how to watch videos/movies on it.

and download the program its freeware and open it and change the language to english then when you run it it asks what file type to convert it to. select mp4 for ipod put it on your desktop and just drag it over to your sd card on your computer after you mount it and it will play perfectly it will be in your gallery you can convert any videos you have on your computer it will be in your task bar on your computer it doesnt create a shortcut
