General How do they expect to sell the devour at the same price as a droid?

    How do they expect to sell the devour at the same price as a droid?
    I was at bestbuy and they are both $99

    They're definitely not going to be the same price as verizon. The droid is $199.99 with two year activation, the devour is going to be ~$100.00 with two year activation.

    I upgraded from a blackberry curve to a devour for 100. The droid would have cost me an extra 100 and I wouldn't have had Motoblur... which is the best feature on this phone! :)

    I noticed that too... At least at my local Walmart they're both $99 right now :p

    Either way though, I think it's more because they're realizing they were charging too much for the Droid and had to lower the price to get people to buy it once the Devour was released :D

    They advertise so much for the Droid, I don't think they'll ever have an issue with people not buying it (until it become obsolete).

    I just got my Devour yesterday and it was about $100 cheaper than the Droid. Not to mention just...better. At least to me.

    lol which was the day it came out because once you take the phone out the box something better has come out. Gotta love technology huh? :p

    Motorola has an upgraded Droid in the works, I guess. Has a much better keyboard from what I've heard.
