Something tells me numus rooted his phone or at least has access to it. The rooting of this phone is still in it's infancy but it is on the way it seems.

Bingo.. Did a temp root and deleted the apk files for those programs... Then rebooted the phone adn teh root was removed but the applications were deleted...

A permenant root is still in its infancy but a temp root is incredibly easy to do

Well yes obviously rooting will give you acess to remove them however being as how this is a very basic question that has been answered many times if he knew anything about rooting he wouldn't have asked so I figured probably better not to send him down that rabbit hole

If you use PandaHome, you can hide icons.

slightly off topic.. I have openhome & for some reason it hides the ESPN icon. I haven't been able to find it anywhere w/ OH running. If I turn OH off, it's there.

    any ideas?
