How do you know if you have too many apps

I've been dowloading apps like crazy lately. When I check the Internal Phone Storage available space, it says 137. At what point do you start to see the phone slowing down. How low should I go? How will I know that I should start to remove some?

I'm down to 60.47MB. The phone has not slowed down. Having apps installed on the phone will not slow it down. Running too many at once could possibly do it. But there again the phone knows how to handle them. I have roughly 19 apps in task killer that are always ignored. Meaning that when I end task those stay up.

I have 96.5MB left and run smoothly, the only lag i find is within certain apps (FACEBOOK especially) but I find it difficult to fault the app when regular facebook sucks eggs right now.
