How Do You Set GMail To Be Default (SEND) Client??

I'm using GMail by default on my phone because it allows me to have my mail pushed to me. Receiving works great, but when I tell the phone to send an email such as a picture from the internet while in the browser, it makes me choose between Exchange or a POP account. How can I get it so it uses gmail instead? I tried adding my GMail account as a POP 3 and sending the emails, but I'm not receiving any of them.

BTW, after conditioning my battery for 3 days, I'm currently at 6 hours of awake time and 24 hours of up time, and the sucker still won't die, lol.

yeah i think the battery issues with the eris are just a bad batch that keep getting recycled back to unsuspecting customers by underhanded verizon reps to pad thier sales numbers without ever being sent back to HTC for a referb. my sugestion is to scratch the case before returning it so they can not resell them as new phones.

I'm not sure what it is really. I think a lot of it has to do with the battery meter being way off. The phone stayed at 30% for a ridiculous amount of time, but dropped from 100% to 90% in less than an hour. I think with conditioning and a revamped battery power meter, we'll realize this phone can hack it pretty well.

Does anyone have an answer to my initial question though??

Um, my phone was brand spanking new so what's your reasoning on that?

Your advice is terrible. Intentionally damaging a product? No.

damaging it i think was a bad anology what i'm saying is the protocall of verizon is start the phone. if it loads wipe it. put it back in the box and resell it as new without ever sending it back to HTC to be referb'd. and if the phone is not in like new condition that's when they send it back to HTC. but if verizon can get away with selling a like new phone at 99 dollars they will and then stick you with someone elses headache.

Why do you think the boxes are all pre opened. it's so you can't tell the differance between a new one and a like new one
