Like many of you I was a long time WM user. Mogul, TP, TP2 I went through 1 mogul, 6 TP's and 5 TP2's as I am sure that many of you have. After my last TP2 failed I spent hours on the phone, and multiple trips to multiple stores trying to get my device changed out to a new device. Everyone I talked to gave me a different excuse as to why they could not help me. As a last ditch effort, I emailed firstname.lastname@example.org and told them the true story of the run around I had been through with my TP and my TP2, and I asked if there was any way that I could get some help to get into a new device. I was contacted by a representative within 1 day, and I was told that for the inconvenience I would be given 50% of my after rebate price of my next upgrade. I was told that there was no expiration to this offer and I could use it on any phone, at any time. All I had to do is email the person back with my device of choice and they would put the order in for me. I chose the EVO once it was made available to SWAC members and I had my device in 2 days after being available. My before 100$ rebate price including tax was just over 217$ so it will end up costing me 117$! For those of you truly having ongoing problems with your current device (multiple replacements), give it a shot! Be sincere and tell your story... P.S. After I got this offer I continued to pursue getting my faulty TP2 replaced. I was able to talk an replacement specialist into giving me a NIB TP2, sold it with all my accessories for 250, and upgraded to the EVO at a profit!
