Help How is the battery life on your lg motion 4g?

Mine not so good, it keeps draining, it's worse when I am traveling or in other areas. If I put it on airplane mode, the battery lasts all day when the screen is off (sleep/awake button pressed), but as soon as i turn cellular network on, I start to see the battery tip on the icon emptying even when screen is off. My brother's lasts longer and its the same phone and carrier, I factory restored it, no luck. I do use location services with facebook running, could that be why? I get better battery at home with location services on or off, still not the best life, but better. I get around 8 hours with light to moderate use when home, but when I traveled through florida, it just kept on draining. My brother looked like his lasted all day and he watches netflix. I looked on his phone annd he has location services turned off. I live in new york and just went on a trip to florida. It's better in brooklyn here in new york.

Cellular data is the biggest consumer of battery life of most smart phones. Turnoff the cellular data when do not use it.

it'll last me all day easily using it sparingly. if i do audio and video streaming/playback, and gaming for most of the day it lasts about 7-8 hours.

thats gonna be the going rate for battery life of just about any phone.

Yeah that is how mine is too with moderate use. I know one time I got about two days of battery but I barely used it.

My average of battery life is 14 hours max before it dies one me! I dont turn of 4G i always keep data on.
My mostly average is 14 hours and my lowest is 12 hours i dont turn off anything i used the battery saving mode on pimpmyrom and my battery lasted longer then before

With heavy use, I could get only 2 and a half-3 hours on it with cell data on. I notice the battery drains no matter what, even when cell phone is in sleep mode. I think wifi is better but the worst comes when traveling and the signal throttles. I get about 2 and half with light to moderate use, not including games.

I do and it doesn't drain my battery. It sounds like you have a bad battery or some other app draining your battery

Anywhere from 8 to 36 hours depending on how I use it

I'd say get rid of Facebook app and just use the browser, Under clock ur frequencies, turn off data when not in use, and get a app that does u what's eating up ur battery like "Gsam battery" or something. Hope I helped. Oh and one more thing try Nova launcher or Apex launcher there battery efficient I heard. :thumbup:
