Root how long before the 1click root?

CF Auto Root has been achieved for many GSM variants of the Note 4:

CF-Auto-Root Gains Note 4 and S5 Prime Support!

However, READ THE FINE PRINT. This root method WILL trip Knox. And it doesn't work on the Verizon variant, due to the locked bootloader. Now that Hashcode is no longer developing or supporting Safestrap, it might be awhile before we get root and custom ROMs :(

I have high hopes that someone out there will step up to the plate, take the Safestrap torch over from Hashcode, and let us flash ROMs like the unbelievable Hyperdrive.

well, according to his website, he said he'll probably still be releasing safestrap updates for a little while, so maybe there's still hope that he'll pass it along to someone else :smokingsomb:
