I just don't know how people expect a customer service rep to know when the phone will ship. They have no idea, that's not their job. Generally with most items this isn't an issue. You order and it ships same day if before a certain time, otherwise the next day. Customer Service is not the warehouse. They have no idea when shipments will come in the the specific warehouses. They probably don't even know which warehouse your order will ship from. They also have no idea how many orders are in front of yours. All they know is what Verizon tells them and that's that your phone will ship by this date. That's it. Calling over and over won't change that. Honestly you might get a different answer, but it isn't going to be a truthful one. It's going to either be made up or the gut feeling of someone that actually has no idea. Verizon tell employees and store nothing. As a store owner I have no clue when we'll ever even be able to get these phones, the Incredible, or the Droid 2 in stock. Your guess is as good as mine until the day they are available. I won't know a thing until then. That's how Verizon works.
