What do you all think?
I'd say they'll have it flashed on June 3rd and we'll see a ROM for general use two weeks later
How hard is it for them to have Sense running on 2.2? I'm not really familiar with Android and all the hacking, but should I assume they have Sense running in Froyo on the ROM or will it be stock Android? If I had to guess their would first be a stock ROM and then later a Sense ROM, but idk.
well they had it on the 2.1 for the hero before 2.1 came out officially for the hero.
Yeah, very soon.
There's a stock ROM floating around which I'm sure can be extracted (I have a copy)
And 2.2 is easy to get your hands on.
I know it's nothing like WM ROM building (if it were even I could have a 2.2 ROM available right now), but I'm sure we'll have one before long at all.
I'd say within a week of release we'll have a working 2.2 custom rom.
yea maybe not a 2.2 with sense, that will come later down the road, but 2.2 no problem within a few weeks, that is why i will disable sense when i get the EVO so i don't get too spoiled when i flash 2.2 on there, cause my bets are the first few 2.2's will be stock
