I've had this problem since day one. At first I thought I was simply forgetting letters but then one day I noticed it was missing inputs.

I always use the hardware keyboard any time I type more than a couple words. I text regularly, and use my phone for work email daily.

I've never noticed anything wrong with my keyboard.

if you are typing on pages or have alot of things going on you can miss some key presses. say you got pages loading, running music etc.. you can have this issue.

My keyboard works great, no problems at all. Adjusting the settings isn't helping at all?

No problems with my keyboard. However, I do wish that it were laid out more like Blackberry keyboard. Narrower. Tighter fit. Raised keys. It takes me 3 times longer to type something on this thing.

I don't think I have any input issues that can't be attributed to fat-fingering the wrong key, or improperly pressing. I really debated getting the EVO instead of the Epic, thinking I'd never use the physical keyboard, but now that I have it, I'm a believer. Toggling to the number row, is terribly inconvenient on a virtual keyboard.

    You really find Sywpe faster??

Not at all. I just downloaded and played with ExtremeTypist...My physical keyboard speeds average about 22 wpm. Swype was 1/2 that: about 10. I'm not a big swype user, so I'm sure there are tricks to quickly correct misspellings, but much of what I type uses numerals (requiring a toggle), and has uncommon words not in the internal dictionary.

I have had no issues. Sounds like it is time to return your phone for a new EPIC
