I know camera performance has improved..things such as AF, load time, etc..
But does it take better pictures per se? I mean have things such as whitebalance been adjusted? Are the pictures really better quality or are they just easier to take?

I'm getting same capture time, besides now my camera goes black after I take a picture. Is there a problem?

Mine is doing the same thing. I swear my camera got worse. I also notice a purple/red haze in the middle of the camera screen. The haze shows up in pics too.

I think my camera got worse. I don't know if it's due to a conflict with another app or not, but it's slower and takes forever to snap the pic.

The quality of my pictures are still the same as before the update. Mediocre. Not bad, but for 5megapixel, it should be much better. My Samsung Rogue had 3mp and took better pictures (with or without a flash).
It does AF much quicker, but I don't have the black issue some have mentioned. I take a picture, it shows the picture on the screen for about 2-3 seconds, then goes right back to viewing what the lens is seeing.
Overall, I'd say it is better, but still not what it should be.
  6. I think that the camera has gotten better as the AF is quicker and the processing for preview is faster (on my phone, at least). Like carlz28 said though, the camera still has a way to go before it really matched up to it's potential of a 5MP.

    I have gotten great results.
Not sure as to why my pictures come out looking great.

:( Sorry to hear that others are having bad experiences,
    some even worse now:thinking:

My camera is awesome now. It focuses so fast.

    A few tips:

1 - hold it steady right after you click
2 - clean the glass before you take the pic. Huge improvement.
3 - set the resolution down if you don't need it. Why take a 5mp pic if you are going to use it as a contact pic?
