I'm heading down to Chicago and want to throw down a speed test to see how fast LTE really is. But I'm just wondering if I get like say 10mb down, and the test goes for 10 seconds, do I use 180mb of data? If anyone could fill me in on this one please let me know.

The speed tests finish faster depending on how fast your connection is. So let's say you do a speed test at 10mbits/second, it takes 5 seconds, but if you do it at 50mbits/second it'll only take 1 second.

Also the speedtests are in megaBITS/second. So if you ran a 10 second speed test at 10mbits it would be far less than 100 megaBYTES. There is 8 bits in a byte. It might be something like 12megabytes if I'm not mistaken.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
