A Sprint company store told me that they would give me $120 for my G3 and $60 for my wife's 2G iPhone for switching to the Sprint EVO. I stopped by Sam's Club today and they offered me $140 and $107 respectively for the same iPhones.

    What are you all getting?

I think anyone on here would sell it on craigslist or ebay for a bit more than what some retailer will give you.

I sold my 16GB 3G for $175 and sold my wife's 16GB 3G for $180. We used Craigslist for each. Had to deal with numerous deadbeats and losers but it only took a few days.

Try these websites if you do not want to do Craigslist:
    www.cashforiphones.com
    www.gazelle.com/iphone

It is amazing how many people want to buy used iPhones. If you do not already have software version 3.1.3, DON"T. Your phone is much more valuable with the older software so buyers can unlock it for use with Tmobile. Let me know if you have any questions:)

Sprint gave me $70.22 for my first gen iPhone. I would have sold it on ebay or Craigslist but I had 2 noticeable rows of dead pixels,...the phone worked perfectly but selling it to a private buyer would have been a challenge.

I didn't take the offer, I just jailed breaked my iPhone 3G and unlocked it so that the new owner can use it on any carrier. It sold on ebay for $260. I would recommend jail breaking and unlocking, if you know how to do it, and selling it on ebay.

RS would only give me $16 for my Treo 800W I kept it and a week later it self-destructed.
