Curious how space people have used. I have 380mb free in phone memory on the Inc.
371 on mine
599. Because I did some spring cleaning.
507mb due to the fact I got the "Low on Space" warning.
668, only had it less than 2 months..
664 MB available. I don't add much and flash periodically
496...whats the difference between phone memory and storage?
Phone memory is where the user apps get installed and part of apps that are apps2sd.
Quite a few people seem to have problems getting past 300mb free range and start to get "Low on space" errors. I get the error at about 380 free (where I am at now). Free of big caches and started clean with all roms.
Seems the Incredible has a memory problem and does not really have 748mb free, as the device lists.
508mb available on phone memory
and yet I am getting the notification LOW ON DISK SPACE
SEE HERE ---> http://androidforums.com/incredible...10-low-disk-space-pissed-off.html#post1736122
Very weird. I've had the phone for 4 mons. I've got 6.6 gb free. WTF am I doing right?
Total Space 748MB
Available Space 692MB
That's your internal phone storage, not your phone memory (which is what we are talking about in this thread).
Mine is at 572 available space right now. That's with approx. 90 apps.
I have 612 yet I am still getting the "low memory" message. Why in the world is this. I don't have near as many apps. either.
Based on the sample of data the folks here kindly provided, it suggests that the problem would be more common, but most are not as "app hungry" as some of us are.
My guess is the issue is sytemic to the Incredible and there is a correlation of increased "Low on space" errors as users accumulate more apps.
Incredible apparently has a design bug with the "748mb of space". It appears to have hundreds less.
No low space notification, but I'm on cyanogen
wait, so the 6ish gigs i have free of internal phone storage cant be used for apps? i kinda thought that was where they were going
674mb here dont have many apps and delete when i dont use them
